Production

Not everything that is needed in the course of restoring a classic car, or that can be optimized and made even more reliable using modern technology, is to be found on old and dusty spare parts shelves. This fact makes us inventive. What we can't find anywhere, we manufacture from scratch. For this purpose, parts that are no longer available are scanned, returned to the volume model and either re-milled or turned using our own modern 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machines. We now even use 3D printing to produce parts for our newly developed DTW 5-speed gearbox conversion kit for air-cooled VWs. Modern processes make almost everything possible that was previously unthinkable.

We manufacture special tools for car body construction and a number of fixtures or models using modern CAD/CAM systems such as Solid Edge/Works & CAM.

In addition to the production of mechanical and electrical components, we have specialized in the complete modernization of air-cooled drive units through the use of our freely programmable injection systems. This applies to a Porsche 911 from 1973, for example, as well as to a 993 from the 1990s, or even a Porsche 356 from the 1950s.

In this way, a number of new products and assemblies have been created which we either combine in one vehicle or install or sell individually in vehicles. These include our newly developed single throttle valve system, the DTW exhaust system in many different variants, fully electrically folding and adjustable full bucket seats with separately adjustable seat heating in the backrest and seat surface and even our own TÜV-approved rims in an unmistakable design.

We manufacture from scratch what we can no longer simply take from the spare parts warehouse. This has already resulted in more than 100 individual special products. The positive side effect is that we can regularly implement optimizations that help to increase the (driving) pleasure of classic and vintage cars, improve energy efficiency or simply bring operational safety up to a more contemporary level. Because what brakes better, turns in better or feels better in bends is, above all, noticeably more fun.
