The requirements applying to transmission construction are complex. Mostly, we overhaul gearboxes so that the gears can be shifted effortlessly and noiselessly once again. However, the demand for stronger and ratio-modified units is growing steadily.
Feel-good dimension
We have 18 years’ experience – also in ¼-mile racing – and are able to adapt almost any transmission to the respective performance requirements. The same applies to the modification of the gear ratios. In addition to the installation of five-speed gearboxes, we are also able to adjust four-speed gearboxes to suit any application. The demands on transmission construction are rather conservative. Mostly, we overhaul gearboxes so that they can be shifted effortlessly and noiselessly once again or we replace the entire unit. Often, a five-speed gearbox will simply do the job: the engine doesn’t rev-up too much, the final drive ratio fits and driving becomes a completely new feel-good experience.
